Crate training and calm indoor behavior
What this means for you: a dog who can settle at home without constant chaos.
A rescue-first, training-first placement program. Every Foundations pup enters structure before placement, and every pup receives health screening before go-home. We focus on stability, communication, and day-to-day manners so each dog can transition into family life with a stronger start. Latest update: Stella has officially been placed and is now thriving in her forever home as Skye.
Pit Mix · Female · Born December 22, 2025 · now in her forever home as Skye
Stella came to us from an accidental breeding situation that needed a safe, immediate path before surrender became the next step.
She moved through our Foundations process with structure, communication, and day-to-day routines—and is now officially placed with her new family, who renamed her Skye.
Placement complete. We are grateful for everyone who shared, referred, and supported her journey to the right home.
Her handoff guide remains available here for reference: Stella’s Go-Home Playbook.
Foundations work she completed before placement:
We bring dogs into our program from rescue and transitional situations, then put them on a structured development plan before placement. The goal is to turn potential into stability.

Every Foundations Rescue dog receives health screening before placement. We review vet status, vaccinations, and deworming so families get clear, documented information on health context before go-home. Our focus is transparency, not guarantees.

We review available Foundations dog(s), temperament, and lifestyle fit.
The dog continues in structured training (typically 3-4 weeks) while we prepare both dog and family.
We transfer commands, structure, and routines—with written go-home documentation—so you can continue what we've built.
Every Foundations placement includes go-home transfer support and written documentation. At standard placement fees, we also schedule one follow-up training session after go-home to reinforce transfer at home. Stella’s completed $500 placement included the transfer session and written go-home document without a scheduled follow-up session.
These puppies may come from rescue backgrounds, but what families receive is far more than a simple adoption. Each Foundations pup includes structured training, health screening, socialization, and transition support so you bring home a healthier, better-adjusted companion.
That is why the Foundations fee reflects the full transformation and peace of mind, not just the puppy’s origin story.

Recent placement update: Stella (now Skye) was placed at a special $500 Foundations fee with a go-home transfer and written handoff document. Typical Foundations placement fees for other dogs often fall in the $1,300–$2,000 range above.
